This is a school which lives its values for all its children: 'work hard, be kind, choose wisely'. Due to this, pupils learn to get along well with each other in class and at social times.

There are high expectations for pupils' learning, which are increasingly realised. This is expecially the case for reading.

The school promotes high standards of behaviour and attendance. A renewed focus on pupils sustaining attention in class is having an impact.

The school places the pupils' personal development at the heart of its provision. There are increasing links to the Junior school to ensure pupils are well prepared for the next stage of their learning.
